About Us   Owen Tree Service has been in business since 1985 providing residential, municipal and commercial tree care services.  It's mission is to provide innovative, practical, top-quality services and products that set the standard for the industry to follow.  Randy Owen, the company president, is well known and highly regarded by very reputable national and state tree care associations.  Currently on the Board of Directors for the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), he was also past president of the Michigan Forestry and Parks Association (MFPA).  He has played a leading role in the development of many of the standards required in practice today for tree care companies. Meet the Owen Tree Service sales staff   From L to R, Randy Owen (Owner), Tom Morgan (Sales Manager), Kirk Gruenwald (PHC Manager)   Tom Morgan - Sales Manager ISA Certified Arborist Tom is an ISA Certified Arborist with 25 years of green industry experience.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University.   Jim Felganauer - Residential Sales ISA Certified Arborist Jim is a Certified Arborist, has been with the company since 1998 and has more than 22 years of experience in tree services.  Jim is an avid sportsman, loves fishing and hunting, and has been a guest on Michigan Outdoors. Oliver Christian III - Residential Sales ISA Certified Arborist and Line Clearance Tree Trimmer Oliver has been with the company since 2001 and has more than 22 years experience in the green industry.  Ollie loves trees and says "I enjoy working for a respectable tree service". Earl Ray - Residential Sales ISA Certified Arborist Earl is an ISA Certified Arborist with years of experience.  Like all other Owen Tree Service arborists, Earl keeps up-to-date on current tree care issues by regularly attending training sessions and reading industry publications. Scott Ouellette - Commercial Sales ISA Certified Arborist and Pesticide Applicator Scott is an ISA Certified Arborist with 18 years green industry experience, and has been with Owen Tree Service since 2003.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Michigan State University.   Dave Kidd - Residential Sales ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Spray Technician and Plant Health Care Specialist David has been with the company since 2006 and has more than 25 years experience in the green industry.  Dave coaches youth soccer when he’s not working and says “it’s great to work for, and represent, an accredited company”.     Brad Dunkin - Residential Sales ISA Certified Arborist, Ontario Utility Arborist, and Certified Treecare Safety Professional Brad Dunkin has been with the company since 2006 and has more than 6 years of industry experience.  Brad completed his two year apprenticeship in Arboriculture in Ontario, Canada, as well as the program for Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSP): The industry's first safety certification program.
