About Us
Owen Tree Service has been in business since 1985 providing residential, municipal and commercial tree care services. The mission of Owen Tree Service is to provide innovative, practical, top-quality tree care services and products that set the standard for the industry to follow. Randy Owen, the company president, is well known and highly regarded by national and statewide tree care associations. Randy was formally the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), he was also past president of the Michigan Forestry and Parks Association (MFPA). Randy has played a leading role in the development of many of the standards required in practice today for tree care companies.

Craig has been with Owen Tree Service for 17 years and has been in the tree care industry for 30 years. Craig is a MDA Certified Pesticide Applicator and a graduate of Michigan State University. Craig is passionate about tree and lawn care and likes movies, hockey, and vintage rock & roll.

Jim is a Certified Arborist, has been with the company since 1998 and has more than 25 years of experience in tree services. Jim is an avid sportsman, loves fishing and hunting, and has been a guest several times on Michigan Outdoors.

Brad Dunkin has been with the company since 2006 and has more than 9 years of tree service experience. Brad completed his two year apprenticeship in Arboriculture in Ontario, Canada, as well as the program for Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSP): The tree care industry's first safety certification program. Brad is an ISA Certified Arborist and a Master Gardener.
