Statement
Owen Tree Service, Inc. is a Michigan based corporation committed to personal, public, and environmental safety,
and the stewardship of Michigan lands. Owen Tree Service Herbicide Division, Inc. (OTSHD),
a division of Owen Tree Service, has performed herbicide applications for vegetation management on public rights-of-way for
the past 6 years. Herbicide applications are a cost effective management tool for vegetation managers, and is well
documented as such in many industry publications.
Owen Tree Service, Inc. herbicide application staff are
professional, well trained Michigan residents, and licensed through the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Our applicators
are uniformed and trained in all aspects of the safe use and handling of herbicides.
Leading our list of satisfied
clients is Consumers Energy Company, for whom OTSHD performed approximately 750 line miles of work in 2005. Quality control
personnel monitor all projects to ensure quality and safe performance.
Through our commitment to environmental
stewardship, OTSHD partners with BASF Professional Vegetation Management (ProVM) who assists OTSHD in maintaining BASF;s high
standards of commitment to personal, public and environmental safety. Due to the quality of applications and field testing,
we offer a 90% woody vegetation control guarantee backed by a “Product Performance Warranty” from the BASF Chemical
Company. OTSHD also maintains similar professional partnerships with Dow Chemical and DuPont companies.

starts with proper “Land Owner Contact Personnel”. Our staff has years of “in the field” experience.
They understand the environmental issues and can communicate intelligently with affected property owners. They will
be able to explain the chemical mode of action and how it works for the long term benefits for vegetation management on the

as an herbicide professional and a dedication to continually refining his skills, Ray is well known and highly regarded by
national and state herbicide associations, as well as the major manufacturers Dow Agriscience, BASF and DuPont.
Ray
is supported by a group of managers with diverse educational backgrounds and work experience, with several having worked
for numerous years in various positions in the herbicide industry.
