OWEN TREE SERVICE EMPLOYEES RECEIVE SAFETY CREDENTIAL

Four Owen Tree Service employees have completed the study guide, workshop and testing to qualify as Certified Treecare Safety Professionals. CTSP certification, only offered through the Tree Care Industry Association, is designed specifically to address the specific needs of the tree care industry.

The CTSP program is, however, more than just a course on safe tree care practices. The four key areas emphasized are:

  1. Leadership
  2. Hazard control and prevention
  3. Incident control and prevention
  4. Adult learning

With the overriding goal of infusing a company, and the tree care industry, with “safety coaches” Owen Tree Service has demonstrated its desire to provide a safe workplace for employees and offer safe and reliable services that southeast Michigan homeowners can count on. CTSP credential holders learn how to set up safety programs and procedures that empower employees to protect themselves, their co-workers, client properties and the general public.

CTSPs must complete at least 30 hours of training others, or receiving safety or training education themselves, every three years in order to maintain their certification.

Owen Tree Service is proud to have employees like Grz, Sean, Abdon and Todd that place such a high level of commitment to the safety of fellow employees and the protection of our client’s properties.
